Job Description

The Global Business Generation team is the driver of best practice and expertise across all aspects of marketing and business development: winning bids, content and campaigns, brand and profile, internal and external comms, digital and social media and key client management.

The team has real energy and enthusiasm to make an impact, as experts in our fields. This requires us to ask difficult questions and be resilient in a fast-paced environment. The team is closely aligned to the company’s leadership and work in partnership with regional and segment colleagues.

We are looking for a skilled Business Data Analyst to join the team, working closely with the wider Global Data Team.

The individual would be responsible for our Global Business Generation reporting, extracting valuable actionable insights from various data sets to inform decision making. The individual should have a passion for high quality data, a data-driven mindset and approach, have great interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to work well within a team and on their own initiative.

This is a critical role within the team and wider business as we drive the business forward with decisions based on data and insight.


Required experience:
  • Experience of visualising data with software including PowerBI
  • Excel modelling and data manipulation skills
  • Ability to manage and transform datasets using SQL, DAX and Power Query
  • Ability to turn data into valuable, actionable insight to inform key decision making.
  • Ability to break down complex information into insightful presentations for a C-suite audience.
  • Ability to immerse themselves within the business, to understand the context in which it operates including the external competitive and economic environment to draw in market intelligence data and spot trends to overlay with internal data to identify opportunities for Business Generation.
Nice To Have Experience

Exposure to how professional service organisations build brand and win work, ideally as a member of a business development or marketing team.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dataverse
  • Experience with Google BigQuery
  • Experience with developing PowerApps
  • Experience of managing CRM systems.
  • Creating and managing advanced SharePoint libraries
  • Degree in an analytical subject e.g. Maths, Engineering, Economics or Data Science
