Data Analyst

Multinational inside the industrial and medical sector responsible for the production and distribution of gases is looking for several Data Analysts located in Porto or Lisbon.

Tasks

• You will be in charge to generate value out of data by identification, driving and implementing use cases in the area of analytics
• This role is aimed to support in definition and execution of global business analytics strategy, help to position business analytics team as central point of contact for all data analytics
• The Data Analytics Expert acts as the interface between Business and IT area - defines and discusses content related requirements with business and transform into IT / implements requirements using state-of the art technology
• Moreover, you will be in charge of the execution and management of projects within business analytics closely aligned with business and IT
• Last but not least, responsibilities like coaching and training of virtual teams and functional areas within the core disciplines of analytics (e.g. Tableau training)
  
  

Requirements

• You have a University diploma in Computer Science, Business Economics or Business
• Advanced level of English language is mandatory
• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office, databases, web-based applications
• Further you have the ability to write and execute complex SQL queries
• Significant experience with Tableau or any Data Visualization Tool is required for this role
• Python and/or R development skills would be a plus
• You are highly organized and adaptable individual with effective time management
• Travel availability (for dedicated meetings, for training purposes or knowledge exchange experiences)
