The Role

Reporting to the Manager, Business Insights & Analytics, the Senior Data Analyst will work with internal business stakeholders to provide data driven insights through the delivery reporting and analytics.

This role will see you working holistically across the life cycle of development, from understanding the business problem/opportunity, analysis, design and delivery of impactful data visualisations and analytics.

You will support colleague within the Data & Analytics by providing technical guidance and supporting business stakeholders with uplifting their data literacy and their adoption of solutions to enable them to make decisions to improve their business function.

Due to an ongoing significant transformation at MLCL, this role will see you in a transition period to strengthen our Data Capabilities and build our data platform target state. This transition requires the integration of different teams. Your skills to navigate the new environment, coordinate, plan, prioritise, and resolve contention are fundamental to team success.

About You

You are a seasoned Data Analyst with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in data visualisation and analytics.

You are highly proficient with Power BI, including modeling and visualization and possess significant experience in SQL. ETL using SSIS would be desirable.

Experience with R or Python in an Advanced Analytics would be an advantage.

Lastly, your strong understanding of working with Database Structures and Data Warehouses coupled with your demonstrated experience of working within a team responsible for designing, building and supporting Business Intelligent capabilities will see you succeed in this role.
