Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory, to inpatient and home and community based services.
The Finance Division provides a wide range of financial and business services to all areas of Alfred Health. Data and Analytical Services (DAS) is part of finance and provides specialised data management, analysis and reporting services, as well as providing application support for key corporate applications.
This role provides an exciting opportunity for a person with proven report development and data analysis skills to perform a key function within Alfred Health. The role will involve driving delivery of reporting products and dashboards used to support internal and external stakeholders in areas such as operations, process improvement, quality and safety and patient experience.
Data Analysts are actively involved in identifying key themes and strategic goals for the business. This is achieved through the role’s client facing approach that involves first-hand experience with products or workflows and being involved in stakeholder discussions and strategic planning.
Once a solid understanding of the problem space is formed, Data Analysts will communicate meaningful insights and recommendations to a range or stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. This information will be delivered using a variety of tools including SQL, Power BI and Python that will be used to support data driven decision making within Alfred Health.
