Ensure high-quality data for business decisions

As a Financial Data Analyst at NKT, you develop, maintain, and implement analytical systems and solutions. You responsibility is also to identify, evaluate, and prepare data for metrics, reports, and KPIs. You work closely with our sales controllers providing valuable insights to support business leadership.

Your main task will be to

  • Define and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting an appropriate combination of methods and tools to ensure optimal scalability and performance of the solution
  • Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex datasets
  • Handle master data (including creation, updates, deletion)
  • Evaluate the accuracy of data (updates, deletion, creation etc.)
  • Provide support for stakeholders of analyses and interpretations
  • Review and develop the analytical tools and solutions

You will be part of a collaborative team and report to the System & Project Finance Manager. We are open to flexible locations at any offices in HQ in Copenhagen (Denmark), Denmark (Asnaes), Poland (Warszowice), Sweden (Falun) and Czech Republic (Velke Mezirici and Kladno), Kaunas (Lithuania) or Porto (Portugal).

Collaborating and efficient data analyst

To succeed in this role you are organized, analytical and structured in your way of working. Collaborating with others and establishing relationships is something that you are good at. Meeting deadlines, taking ownership of your tasks and thriving in a fast-paced environment is also key in this position.

In addition you have:

  • An understanding of accounting and controlling principles
  • Several years of experience working with data analytics and data quality, including using tools such as SQL, Power Query, Excel and Power BI.
  • Analytical skills e.g. data mining, evaluation, visualization
  • Experience with database and model design and segmentation techniques
  • Hands-on experience in statistical analysis
