The Role
- Test, implement, and maintain data architectures
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines for both batch and real-time processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources
- Optimize data workflows for performance and reliability
- Perform reporting on data platform building progress
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role; experience in insurance sector is a huge plus
- Experience and knowledge in Snowflake, Databricks and Python
- Strong understanding of database management systems and ETL processes
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Immediate available/ short notice period is preferred
