Apprentice Data Analyst
Based in our Stafford Office

The Data Analyst role is key to ensuring the success of the Service Delivery Agreement with the Local Authority. The role will support the timely collection and input of data to enable a series of reports to be generated.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing:

  • To input, update, amend and assist with the verification of data requirements for all aspects of the service area.
  • To resolve queries on data entry in liaison with individual staff and to refer queries to the relevant Service Area Manager where there is an issue with resolving them.
  • Work in collaboration with the Head of Service, Operational Manager Careers and Curriculum and Quality Manager to maintain an up to date knowledge of the requirements of each learning contracts.
  • Identify, collect and migrate data to/from a range of internal and external systems
  • Manipulate and link different data sets as required
  • Interpret and apply the organisations data and information security standards, policies and procedures to data management activities

What we’re looking for:

  • Good standard of education including Maths and English to Level 2 (GCSE C or 5 grade)
  • Level 3 in ICT /L3 Data Technician apprenticeship
  • Excellent practical and procedural knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Access).
  • Successful experience of effectively managing competing responsibilities, resource demands and deadlines.
  • Excellent level of IT knowledge and experience, including word, excel, and databases.
  • Analytical skills to interpret information in terms of implications for the work of the team, and to use statistical and financial information with accuracy.
  • Willingness to learn.
