As part of the Control Framework team, The Data Scientist will collect, research and develop effective and efficient controls for BNP Paribas business and métiers to help them detect e-frauds threats on their respective perimeters. The e-fraud controls will support the BNP Paribas business teams to setup proactive posture against the change of cyber threats technics. The successful candidate will work within the Control Framework team and collaborate with APAC Cyber Security teams and with compliance, legal, Operational Risk Controls.
Responsibilities
Build Analytics framework for e-fraud to deliver adapted controls to the APAC BNP Paribas métier and business such as: Compliance, Legal, Operational Risk Control
Understand E-fraud requirements and regulatory guidelines in order to translate them into use cases for efficient and effective threat identification.
Progressively build a data inventory for E-fraud detection and describe data life cycles for all businesses and métiers
Work closely with Cyber Security teams to understand the E-fraud technics to elaborate the adapted countermeasures to detect the E-fraud threats
Configure, test and implement Behavior Analytics models to monitor transactions on e-payment systems
Develop recognition analytics controls for CCTV to identify premises breaches as a vector of the E-fraud
Main interfaces including Production Security, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Cyber Security Incident Response Team, Digital Risk & Security Risk Management, Business IT, Legal and Compliance, ORC.
Contributing Responsibilities
Contribute to the Permanent Control framework for implementation of policies and procedures in day‐to‐day business activities, such as Control Plan.
Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
Contribute to the reporting of all incidents according to the Incident Management System
