SENIOR POLICY AND DATA ANALYST ROLE Fixed term until December 31, 2022 The purpose of the Senior Policy and Data Analyst position is to undertake policy development and data analysis as part of a team working on the expansion of kindergarten to three-year-olds in Victoria. In particular, this role is a senior position responsible for the maintenance and utilisation of a range of complex modelling tools - strong excel skills are essential. The work also includes being involved in strategic policy analysis and development.
SENIOR POLICY AND DATA ANALYST ROLE - Fixed term until December 31, 2022
An exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team is currently available within the Kindergarten Reform Implementation Division of the Department of Education and Training. This division is responsible for undertaking a mix of project implementation, overarching strategic policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, data analysis and monitoring the phased roll-out of Three-year-old Kindergarten to ensure it benefits Victorian children. With the expansion of our team, there are currently a Senior Policy and Data Analyst fixed term role available.
You will play a key role in a high performing team to deliver a range of complex projects and develop long term strategic policy advice to support the implementation of Three-year-old Kindergarten. To succeed in this role, you will excel in a fast-paced and changing environment, have exceptional data and analytical skills and the ability to explain your data analysis in written and verbal form. You will have a sound knowledge and understanding of policy development and project management and enjoy working collaboratively to achieve outcomes.
