Building on our heritage as a data-driven company a new Data Division has been created to exploit the Data Science capability for the group. We’re building a world class team and infrastructure and are looking to expand with a Data Analyst to help us succeed.
About the role:
As a Data Analyst for Data Products, you will be part of the core delivery team who together build and assure Machine Learning and other Data products to deploy across N Brown. You will help to assess the data used to train our models, undertake analysis which shapes the design of data solutions, evaluate data product outputs, and highlight strategic insights to drive actions.
You will have the opportunity to develop in several different ways within the Data Science and Analytics team, and you will be given the chance to build specialism in one of several disciplines which fall under the umbrella of Data Science.
As a Data Analyst for Product Data, you will:
Undertake analytics to inform and shape the design of ML models and other Data Products
Evaluate Data outputs prior to their use across N Brown
Be a data expert across multiple projects, assuring the quality of data used
Communicate and influence calls to action based on strategic insights identified

Experience in providing analytics which separates signal from noise
Experience of visualising data
A very careful approach to work
Experience operating with big picture focus yet forensic attention to detail where appropriate
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
From a technical point of view, you will need:
Experience of querying data with SQL
Experience of analysis in Python
Experience of visualisation techniques
