We lead the global data science initiatives and capabilities across ECCO Group and drive an ambitious strategy to fundamentally improve how ECCO operates based on data. This means working with the entire value chain – from logistics and sales to marketing, pricing and store operations.

As a Data Scientist, You Will Develop, Implement And Deliver Data Science Solutions, Ranging From Exploratory Analyses To Automated Solutions In Production. You Will Learn How We Work With DevOps And DataOps Pipelines, And You Will Be Part Of Deploying And Maintaining Solutions. Furthermore, You Will

  • Be part of a well-established Data Science & Machine Learning product team, working closely together with skilled ML engineers and (Sr) Data Scientists
  • Develop new and existing data science products, e.g. for price optimisation, inventory management, marketing analytics, consumer analytics, pricing, demand sensing, etc.
  • Clean, prepare and synthesise data for use in descriptive analysis, as well as predictive, prescriptive and generative models
  • Develop and implement machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) algorithms for real-world problems by using supervised, unsupervised, semi-unsupervised and reinforcement learning
  • Deliver solutions based on a modern data platform that is delivered by a state-of-the-art Data Platform team

You enjoy learning while solving real problems

You Are Always Interested In Learning New Technologies And Ways Of Working. And If There’s Something You Don’t Know, We Are The Perfect Place To Learn It. We Imagine That You

  • Have (or will soon complete) a master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline, e.g. statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, physics or economics
  • Haven proven your ability to excel (e.g., excellent academic record, extra-curricular activities), however previous full-time work experience is not required
  • Know at least one programming language, ideally python
  • Are familiar with modern cloud-based data tech stacks; although this is a plus, not a requirement, if you don’t we will teach you!
  • Are fluent in English and have solid communication skills; fluency in Danish is a plus.
