ROLE: DATA ANALYST

SALARY: UP TO 40K

LOCATION: LUTON, 3 DAYS IN OFFICE AND 2 DAYS REMOTE

Overview

Our client is a leading importer of fresh food produce. They are looking for a Data and Business Intelligence Analyst to develop, embed and continuously improve the quality of reporting, measurement and data visualization. The ideal candidate will have experience in analyzing data and creating insightful reports using Power BI and QlikSense

Key Accountabilities

• Design and implement reports and dashboard using company BI tools
• Continuous improvements to existing reports and dashboard
• Able to work unsupervised and make informed decision
• Integrating data from our systems into our data warehouse to produce our source of truth for all reporting and analysis
• Collaborating with our business users to clarify requirements
• Collect, analyse, and interpret data from various sources and transform it into meaningful insights using Power BI and QlikSense
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify their data analysis needs and provide actionable insights.
• Identify trends and patterns in data and communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Create and manage data models using Power BI and QlikSense.
• Troubleshoot issues related to data analysis and reporting, and work with IT to resolve them
• Continuously improve the quality and efficiency of reporting processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in data analysis and visualization.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Power BI, QlikSense and related tools.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with SQL and database management
• SQL database management and housekeeping
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports and other reporting systems is a plus.
