Why You Matter
Massive amounts of data is transferred over the web every second of every day, and we need someone to help work through the challenges of analyzing part of the mountain of mobile app network traffic. Your love of data analysis and desire to create new efficient and effective processes for analyzing mountains of data will help bring impact to our mission. The daily schedule will not be without variety as you work to gather data from hard drives, mobile devices, or reverse engineering of certain devices.
As a data scientist and analyst, we need you to
- Have familiarity with PCAP files, Bro(Zeek), different file formats, Tableau, Jupyter, Hadoop/Hive, Apache Spark SQL, Elasticsearch, etc.
- Correlate data from multiple sources and effectively leverage identifiers in new datasets
- Create mission value through data analysis
Who You Are
You are passionate about big data and intrigued by the prospect of learning new ways to relate large data sets. You are an accomplished data scientist/analyst with
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
- Experience working with large data sets
- Network data analysis experience
