Job Details

In this role, you will be handling the design and construction of scalable data management systems, ensure that all data systems meet company requirements, and research new uses for data acquisition. You will have to identify and apply advanced analytics techniques in a big data paradigm and drive the integration in our Kantar data science product portfolio. Furthermore, you will be dealing with a variety of global FMCG clients, building underlying infrastructure for Machine Learning and Operations Research engines, and using distributed computing architectures. You will also design and implement new AI solutions applying a range of different methodologies and best-in-class technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Unlock the power of data delivering significant improvements in growth, efficiency, and effectiveness for our clients.
• Understand customers' process needs to advise clients on the best analytical practices, contributing to their experience and inspiration for the success of the project.
• Collaborate with Kantar Consulting Centre of Excellence in the definition of the product roadmap.
• Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems
• Develop analytics models to increase customer value and operational efficiency.
• Design underlying structure for mathematical and statistical models to optimize sales and marketing processes for our FMCG customers.
• Support the Project Team in all project phases.
• Recommend different ways to constantly improve data reliability and quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

• STEM Bachelor’s or Master's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant industry work experience deploying advanced analytics products and services in a client-facing role, defining strategy, and delivering ground-breaking solutions.
• Passion for Data Science (Machine / Deep Learning, Language, Artificial Intelligence, Operations Research).
• Knowledge of commonly used Machine Learning and Operations Research techniques.
• Proven experience with Big Data technologies, building and deploying AI solutions to cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Extensive experience in Python and Spark programming (Databricks is advantageous).
• Professional experience with CI/CD pipelines in DevOps environment.
• Sound understanding of analysis techniques, design, and modeling of relational databases and SQL language.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools, ideally Power BI.
• Ability to act as a subject matter expert for existing or potential partners with strong business acumen combined with solid technical skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with internal and external clients to establish requirements in non-technical language.
• Interest in developing and mentoring people at all levels and deliver highly innovative analytics services and solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with a critical thinking attitude.
