We are working towards transforming the whole Allegro front-end experience based on Product Catalog by achieving highest quality content, images and product groups. As we’re working with more than 100 million products we need scalable solutions. Our team of data scientists is building Machine Learning models and algorithms that drive the product catalog development and ultimately our business.
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will build and maintain ML models needed to develop the catalog. You will be responsible for training models, monitoring their performance, diagnostics and improving the business metrics. Our team uses different kinds of models and tech to bring direct business impact. Our current projects include:
Detection of product duplicates
Detection of misclassified products
Clustering and grouping products
Face anonymization solution
Technologies you’ll encounter on the job are (among others): Python, Airflow, Big Query, GCP, Spark, VertexAI, Looker Studio.

Our offer is addressed to people who:
Graduated with a degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or a similar major
Have at least 4-5 years of experience in data science, with some models launched to production
Have experience with large scale models and data processing
Can translate business challenges into ML problems and tackle them using novel approaches
Are excellent communicators, able to convey technical information to semi and non-technical audiences
Fluently program in Python and use development tools with ease
Have an advanced knowledge of SQL
Understand statistical and machine learning methods, especially algorithms based on decision trees
