Your Responsibilities Will Include
As a Platform Admin, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our data and analytics platform, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and security. Your role will involve various aspects of platform administration, automation, and performance optimization.
Platform Administration: Manage and administer the Azure cloud environment, Linux servers, Snowflake data warehouse, and Dataiku Server. Set up and configure these platforms to meet business requirements and ensure smooth operations.
Automation and Scripting: Utilize PowerShell and other scripting languages to automate routine tasks, streamline platform operations, and enhance overall efficiency. Implement proactive monitoring and alerting mechanisms to detect and address issues before they impact platform performance.
Data Integration and ETL: Oversee and support the integration of data from various sources into the Snowflake data warehouse using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Informatica. Ensure data pipelines are robust, scalable, and optimized for data processing.
Security and Access Management: Implement security best practices and access controls to protect the data and analytics platform. Monitor user access and permissions, audit logs, and enforce data security policies.
Performance Optimization: Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities for optimization. Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues in the data pipeline, ETL processes, or server configurations
Your Background
- Proven experience (1-3 years) as a Data Engineer, working with snowflake , ADF , PBI , Airflow
- Hands on experience with snowflake and database , ETL , Reporting
- Hands-on experience with OBI or other business intelligence and analytics platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL and database design, with experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and computing platforms, preferably Azure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on complex data-related challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
