Vestiaire Collective is looking for a Lead Data Scientist - Search to join our team.

About the role :
You'll be responsible for the development, prioritisation and optimization of the models used by the search engine powering our catalogue. You'll work closely with both the platform team to design technical solutions and integrate required algorithms, and with the product team to align priorities and maintain your project roadmap.

What you'll do

Managing a team of data scientists and data engineers focusing on our Search engine
Architecture design and managing implementation of the Data Science stack related to Search
Identify area of improvements to continually improve our catalogue search and deliver solutions to tackle these opportunities
Responsible in monitoring and optimising Search KPIs (click-through-rate, conversion rate, average click position)
Coordinating with the Search Product Director on the roadmap
Cooperation with Search engineering team to align on requirements from the Data Science algorithm side

Who you are:
Master's degree in a quantitative field; PhD a plus
5+ years of experience including experience leading a team of data scientists
Experience with managing the search engine algorithm (data enrichment, re-ranking, keyword-level optimization)
Strong knowledge of Python, Elasticsearch, Cloud platform, Machine Learning Algorithms and Model deployments to production
Leader, technical advocate, and able to communicate with technical and non-technical people
Fluent English (technical interviews will be conducted in English)

Our technical stack : Python, Airflow, AWS (S3, Lambdas, Sagemaker ...), Docker, Kubernetes, Tensorflow, ElasticSearch.
