Data Analyst - Lounge Pricing

As a Data Analyst for Lounge Pricing Analytics, you will help build the next generation pricing system for our Offprice channels; while putting data at the core of our decisions and processes. Developing a deep understanding of our customers through complex analyses and forecasting will be part of your mission.

You are the go-to person in the team for complex analyses on Zalando's large and diverse data set. Through your insights you help the Pricing team understand our customers' behavior across various markets, evaluate past performance and improve our existing processes
You collaborate with tech teams and develop your work into user-friendly data products, such as assessing the attractiveness of our stock and estimating seasonality and price elasticity of our assortment
You build and maintain predictive models to forecast demand, discount rate and stock levels to enable better decision-making and long-term planning
You are an excellent communicator - you excel at data storytelling and empower Pricing team and your stakeholders through simple and effective visualizations
You have an avid interest both in our business and in learning new methodologies, through which you contribute valuable ideas in team discussions

We are looking for a commercially savvy and impact-driven analyst profile:

Academic degree in an analytical subject, e.g. economics, business, statistics, mathematics, engineering or its equivalent
3+ years of working experience as a data analyst in a relevant field, ideally in e-commerce context
Solid knowledge of SQL , and experience with Python or R . Good understanding of statistical methods, databases and data structures
Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills with a curious, creative and self-starter mindset. You couple your passion for data with pragmatism to drive actions and impact
Passionate about promoting inclusive culture practices and processes that are models for others

Experience in forecasting and expertise with visualization tools like Tableau is a plus
