Data Scientist (m/w/d)

Job Overview & Responsibilities

• Multivariate data analysis
• Use of statistical packages
• Use of software packages for predictive modeling of production processes
• Actively participate in the project team meetings for each program under investigation.
• Maintenance of comprehensive records of work performed.
• Provide reports of work as required.
• Complies with regulatory requirements and corporate policies and goals.
• Maintains current awareness and skills in subject areas relevant to execution of the above.
• Reports project progress to relevant project lead.
• Works with a project team and sometimes with other departments, such as EHS, QA and Production, presenting results.
• Works with other sites with in the EUROAPI network to deliver projects, some travel may be required.
• Work is supervised but works independently within their field of knowledge.
• Prioritises and organizes time to meet short and medium term deadlines.
• Helps to develop new ideas and techniques.
• Works on specific areas of a project, helping to complete significant elements of it.

Education / Experience

• Scientific degree or extensive relevant experience.
• Highly computer literate, including ability to code in Spyder, MatLab or similar, and competent in the use of statistical data analysis software e.g. Unscrabler.
• Effective communication skills.
• Desired: Experience, physical chemistry, spray drying, PAT, or process development and scale-up.
