Financial Services Technology Consulting - Salesforce/nCino Data Engineer - Senior Consultant - Dublin
Our Data and Analytics team in Financial Services Organisation is growing. We are currently seeking to hire strong Data Engineer senior consultants with significant experience with Salesforce and its Banking solutions such as nCino to work with clients to design and build data integration pipelines that will ensure governance and implementation approaches that will enable digital product roadmaps using the platform through the entire lifecycle including design, implementation, and ongoing support.
Through his/her expertise, the Data engineer will be able to identify new and innovative approaches always looking out for opportunities to simplify platform implementation to make it easier to use for clients and capture growth opportunities for the future.
Your Key Responsibilities
Within Technology Consulting - Data and Analytics, you'll work as a Senior Consultant as part of a high -performing team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping client organisations solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. On a typical day, you will have the opportunity to:
- Utilise your skills in the areas of Data Solution Design, Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Data analysis, Analytics to help our clients drive profitability and performance improvement through their business operations and technology challenges.
- Be able to effectively analyse and define data and analytics requirements through stakeholder engagement and reviewing existing processes. Engage directly with client stakeholders to drive data driven business outcomes.
- Work on business problems with our financial services clients, where data and technology are the integral part of the answer
- Be involved in projects across the end-to-end project lifecycle, from business case development to project and execution and close-out.
- Work in a variety of data and analytics engagements, including Data Requirements elicitation, Data Solution Design, Data Architecture, Data Management, Data Engineering, usiness Intelligence, Advanced Analytics and AI
- Support the design of and deliver data & analytics engagements, bringing your knowledge and experience to the table as a subject matter expert
- Play the role of a trusted advisor relationship with Clients leveraging your knowledge and expertise in Salesforce/nCino when the engagement will require
- Draw on EY’s unique capabilities in Data and Analytics, Banking, Insurance and WAM, as well as experience from our global consulting network
- Work with a global team of experts to develop unique, innovative and game-changing solutions as well as benefitting from best-in-class operations focused training
Client Responsibilities
- Strong contributor of the solution/integration design of Salesforce/nCino-hosted platforms or solutions interacting with Salesforce/nCino and proactively identify design challenges and needs relating to implementation of Salesforce/nCino-based platform and interactions with enterprise applications, software, and other systems.
- Work with Digital Product Managers, Technology, Program Management, and other team members to find new features and user stories needed in large/complex development projects built on Salesforce/nCino-hosted platforms or interacting with Salesforce/nCino.
- Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, IT, Application Engineering and Enterprise Security to design and implement Salesforce-based solutions that are scalable and performant, use enterprise system/data integrations and extracts, are designed to be high availability with robust disaster recovery and backup architecture, and incorporate software development lifecycle and deployment methodologies.
- Support the creation, documentation, and prioritization of user stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements to clearly articulate the why (not just the how) that will enable seamless, highly-performant digital products.
- Create visuals and other documentation that transform a business case into easy-to-understand workflows and diagrams that clearly communicate how the solution works impact to existing processes.

- 1-5 years relevant work experience in an MI/ BI reporting, data visualisation, data engineering, data science, and/or advanced analytics roles
- Experience working with relevant data engineering tool (e.g. Informatica, Ab-Initio, etc.)
- Experience working with relevant data and analytics tools and languages relevant to your specialism (e.g PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView, Alteryx, Hadoop, SQL, Python for analytics, R, SAS)
- Ability to present highly technical data solutions to all levels of management to illustrate how those solutions align with the organization's vision and goals.
- Growth and continuous learning mindset
- Strong communication and presentation skills and an ability to act as translator between technical and non-technical teams, seamlessly tailoring your communications to suit the audience
- Client facing and delivery experience; agile experience and certifications preferred.

Ideally, you’ll also have
