How To Contribute To Our Vision

In Data Warehousing we are working in a hybrid cloud solution responsible for data integration, storage, data provisioning and data analytics. We are working on different projects related to big data, service R&D, fleet performance and data warehousing.

In Data Analytics we are in the process of implementing Shiny Proxy and need a person who can help with this migration and when done be responsible for developing and maintaining this new internal analytic platform. As well as creating and maintaining content (web apps) on the platform.

For the Data Analytics team inside the Data Warehouse dept. we are looking for a talented engineer with a service-oriented mindset, programming skills and always willing to learn.

Shiny Proxy is a flexible Open-source solution based on Docker with more support for different use-cases (R Shiny, Python, …) . It will be hosted on Linux VM's inside the Siemens Gamesa Azure subscription and with a future move to Kubernetes for scalability in mind .

As well you will in collaboration with our analytical teams develop algorithms for our fleet performance and diagnostics and be an active part of our internal data science community.

Your Profile Looks Like
  • Have a MSc degree within the fields of electrical engineering, software engineering, computer science, information technology or similar.
  • Working experience using R, Python, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes and preferably APIs and SQL databases.
  • You have an analytical and innovative mindset, and you are not afraid of challenging yourself or colleagues to achieve the best.
  • You are highly result-oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Working with a high amount of structure to help obtaining high quality and reliability.
  • It comes naturally for you to build and maintain good and rewarding relationships.
  • You possess good English skills, both orally and written.
  • Furthermore empowerment, commitment, intuitive and caring are words that suits you.
In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.

Data Analytics is part of Data Warehousing inside our Service Dept. When working in Data Analytics you will be working in an international team of employees located in Denmark, Spain and Germany.
