About the Role: 

Exciting opportunity to develop your career as a Consultant Developer in the Domain Data Delivery space. In this role you will be responsible for the usage of various methods to transform data into useful data systems. This role is both a strategic and operational to ensure that technical solutions enable operational excellence, are secure, reliable, scalable, cost optimised and maintainable.

You will also have a strong focus on building, maintaining & supporting data delivery automation pipelines utilising and promoting best practices.

What you'll be doing  

Your key accountabilities will include but not be limited to: 

• Creation and maintenance of data orchestration pipeline, including build/test/CI/infrastructure scripts, monitoring, logging
• Supporting the build team (Dev and Test) to be self-sustained through training and troubleshooting
• Continually learning and developing best practices and tooling for data delivery
• Proactively manage risk; meet all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to Process and Procedures pertinent to the role

What you'll bring  

To succeed in this role, you will bring extensive experience working in a similar role coupled with unwavering drive and motivation to succeed in fast paced, at times ambiguous and complex environment and have: 

• Demonstrated extensive experience in Data Engineering
• Strong hands-on SQL, Data lakes
• Developing and managing Data Solutions experience
• Technical expertise with data models, data pipeline orchestration techniques
• Source code management and branching solution (Git) experience
• Jenkins/Hudson experience (or similar CI tools) 
• Working knowledge of Cloud (AWS) environments 
• Supporting team and stakeholders, both in development and test environments 
• Continually learning and delivering best practices and tooling for Data delivery initiatives
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written 
• Relevant tertiary qualification in a related discipline
