Data Scientist

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Should be familiar with end to end setup for an on-premise and cloud deployment of Power BI

• Understanding of the infrastructure requirements of setting up Power BI from scratch

• Must have worked with connectors to various data sources from Microsoft. Should be able to handle data connection and transformation of .js, .json and other non-relational database

• Hands-on dashboard design on Power BI desktop must have done report creation using virtualization on PowerBI

• Apply effective data visualisation techniques, create various user interface objects like charts, tables, triggers, filters, extension, expressions, user access, etc. to meet and exceed customer expectations

• Data modelling, Calculations, Conversions, Scheduling Data refreshes in Power BI

• Experience in designing and developing various SSIS packages (ETL) to extract and transform data and involved in Scheduling SSIS packages

• Experience in creating views to enforce security and data customization

• Hands on DAX expressions and ability to perform complex calculations
  

Experience:

• At least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in BI application development using PowerBI, MSBI and MS SQL of which at least 3 years of experience in PowerBI is must

• Any practical knowledge on using R, Python would be a bonus
