Your mission


Your Mission:


  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and other members of the development team to understand business requirements and design data solutions that meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and other data integration solutions that support data transformation and enrichment.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data models that support efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Develop and maintain data processing and analytical tools that support the development of Big Data applications.
  • Provide technical leadership in the implementation of data solutions, ensuring they meet industry standards and are scalable, maintainable, performant, and secure.
  • Identify and evaluate new data technologies and trends to improve the overall data solution architecture.
  • Implement data governance processes to ensure data quality, data security, and data privacy.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data solutions, ensuring timely resolution and high quality of service.
  • Collaborate with other teams within the organisation, including product and platform teams, to ensure data solutions are integrated effectively.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to members of the development team, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Your profile


Technical Skills:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing complex data solutions, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, code quality, and code review processes.
  • Proven experience in developing scalable, maintainable, and performant data solutions.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Java and Python.
  • Strong knowledge in SQL, query performance analysis and relational Databases
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and related technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and solutions such as Snowflake and Databricks

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different teams and levels of the organisation.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong ability to learn and apply new technologies and frameworks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and completeness.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
