Overview:Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Data Analyst in Worcester, MA.
Community Healthlink's IS department supports approximately 1,200 staff in multiple locations. The Data Analyst provides actionable analyses and reports that help monitor performance and drive decision making to reduce total medical expense and utilization. The ideal candidate for this position would be a report writer with previous experience working in a community mental health center, community health center or experience in overseeing and implementing electronic health records, or, EHR Data Analyst.

  • Responsible for timely creation and submission of required EHR reporting deliverables.
  • Responsible for timely notification and reports to leadership of problematic variances in EHR data or other performance issues, with recommended appropriate solutions.
  • Leads or performs studies to develop understanding of program clinical or business processes, and corresponding EHR system needs.
  • Participates in designing initiatives to impact cost drivers, including measurement and monitoring of initiatives
  • Designs/selects clinical and business information systems to meet EHR/clinic/program needs. Develops detailed conceptual designs/specifications that define the scope, objectives, functional and reporting requirements.
  • Measures actual performance against benchmarks or targets
  • Develops, reviews, and documents EHR test plans. Leads or performs EHR reporting tests. Ensures that test requirements are met.
  • Communicates with EHR vendors to resolve system related issues.
  • Provides support for regulatory reporting (MACRA, MSSP, etc.); analyze specifications to develop accurate responses or summaries for timely submissions
  • Fosters on-going support to assigned programs, and serves as a liaison between I.S., vendors and other I.S staff for effective responses to users' needs.
  • Specifies staff, provider and clinician report training needs and provides coaching and training to foster staff self-sufficiency to optimize system utilization.
  • Oversees and coordinates with I.S. training staff for the delivery of courses and reporting workshops for existing and new staff.
  • Maintains knowledge of current EHR, system development and programming techniques, clinical and business practice trends, and related EHR systems technologies.
  • Provides analytical support for clinical initiatives including development, evaluation and ROI analyses.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc (i.e. one time) requests that require clinical, financial, regulatory, pharmacy and operational analysis and reporting.
  • Encourages and supports diverse views and approaches, creating an environment of inclusion, professionalism, respect, and acceptance toward all staff, clients and visitors.
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives and demonstrates the use of LEAN Six Sigma methodology in daily operations.
  • Ensures EHR compliance with regulatory agencies like DMH, BSAS, DPH, HRSA. Supports the development and maintenance of procedures necessary to meet quality initiative requirements like MACRA and Meaningful Use.
  • Ensures compliance with Community Healthlink's policies, quality assurance programs, safety.
  • Performs other job related duties as required or directed.

  • Bachelor of Computer Science or a related field.
  • MUST have 1-2 years' experience coding using SQL and Oracle databases
  • Experience with behavioral health EHR or Carelogic EHR is strongly desired
  • Excellent project management and communications skills required
  • Experience in leading teams, committees, and or new projects
  • Experience in a technical support environment preferred
  • Experience in training and educating users preferred
  • Exceptional MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Comfort with working under high pressure and tight time constraints
  • Must be able to pass a CORI background check
