Tesla is looking for a talented and ambitious Data Analyst to support the growth of the most advanced vehicle distribution model in the world. You will have a sharp eye for detail, can think on your feet, get excited by large-scale and complex challenges. These skills will enable you to execute on deliverables that provide valuable insights informing solutions in our day-to-day work and long-term mission. Excellent oral and written communication is a must; having a positive attitude that excites and elevates everyone you speak with is equally important.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, build, and implement reporting to track finished vehicle ETAs, shipment costs, and total throughput for both internal and external shipping partners
  • Conduct both virtual and in-person meetings with stakeholders to discuss and establish priorities, requirements, and timelines for deliverables that you will support
  • Work with other team members to solve problems, fill gaps, and eliminate blindspots within our Logistics system
  • Build visualizations to translate raw data into digestible reports to drive better business decisions when enhancing/expanding our Finished Vehicle distribution network
  • Analyze backend data and proactively flag risks/areas of opportunity to leadership
What You’ll Bring
  • Master’s Degree in Business Analytics or the equivalent of experience and evidence of exceptional ability
  • Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, and/or Geospatial Analysis
  • Expertise in SQL, Excel, Tableau (or similar data visualization tools)
  • Self-driven attitude and extremely organized – always pursuing perfection, with an awareness and balance for sensitive timelines
  • Clear and concise communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
Preferred Skills
  • Advanced technical skills (Python, R, ETL)
  • Advanced geospatial analytical skills (ArcGIS or similar geospatial analysis tools)

Expected Compensation

$68,000 - $234,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
