Job Title: Master Data Analyst

Reports to: Manager, Master Data Management

Location: Remote

The Role

The Master Data Management (MDM) team owns the integrity and consistency of Global Customer, Supplier, Employee, Item, Pricing, and other key areas to ensure accurate data for downstream users. The Master Data Management Analyst role primarily focuses on essential MDM processes: data maintenance, data quality assurance, data migration and integration troubleshooting, and data archiving.

Your Impact

  • Create and update Global Vendor, Customer, Item, and Employee data
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures as required by Internal Audit
  • Partner with colleagues and other cross functional teams on opportunities to reduce data errors
  • Work with internal teams such as Technology, Sales Operations, Finance, and Product Groups to continually improve processes
  • Provide data as needed to support business teams
  • Participate on or manage data related projects within or outside of the team
  • Identify best practices and process improvements for data management based on investigation/analysis and solicited feedback
  • Maintain key operational metrics: timeliness and accuracy to support operational excellence and a strong internal control environment

  • Effective communication skills (presentation, document writing, coaching)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Visio a plus
  • Experience with Oracle and/or FlexPLM preferred
  • Ability to take initiative and make quality decisions
  • Ability to be flexible and able to function comfortably in a fast paced, constantly changing, and ambiguous environment

Education & Any Certifications Required

Bachelor’s Degree in any Business or Information Systems degree. Will also consider prior experience with MDM, Enterprise Business System (EBS), and FlexPLM or product development in lieu of the technology degree.

Year(s) of Experience & Background Required

Prefer minimum of 3 years MDM experience with a significant focus on data integrity and governance.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.

  • Ensure quality of master data in key systems, as well as development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity.
