Junior Data Analyst
Exciting opportunity for a Junior Data Analyst to join a small and friendly team, located in the heart of Kings Hill. This role is ideal for your first or second job giving you exposure into the different areas of data analytics and offering career trajectory.
Healthshare is an independent, rapidly growing, nationwide and web-based provider of healthcare. Most of our work entails providing community-based NHS services such as physiotherapy and diagnostic scans, but we also work in other public health settings, such as prisons, and offer some private services. Healthshare’s Headquarters are in Kings Hill, Kent, and this a full-time role is based in the data team there. Trusted by patients, chosen by policymakers, and regarded with pride by all of our team – our vision is to be the best independent community healthcare organisation in the UK.
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will have the willingness and drive to learn on the job. You will have a desire to improve your skills and learn about the data and databases that form the backbone of our services. You will enjoy learning about a rich array of data: from official NHS data sources, from national GP systems such as SystmOne, from specialist diagnostics software, from in-house systems, and more. Likewise, you will relish rising to technical challenges and learning about cutting-edge analytical tools such as Microsoft Power Query. (Power Query is the ETL – Extract Transform Load – tool for Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerBI.) You will have an analytical and technical mind, the ability to investigate and build knowledge as you go, and find success in creating, automating, and maintaining processes that produce the outputs we need from the operational data we have.
You will be expected to be a team player who will muck-in as required – for example, correcting unexpected invoice-relevant data entry mistakes under time pressure at the start of the month.
