Support our team effective immediately in a full-time position at our office in Munich as a Junior Data Engineer (m/f/d).

Your Responsibilities:

• You support the build-up and enhancement of our data infrastructure.

• You accompany projects of our business units and devise apposite solutions for the save and secure operation of our Data Science and AI algorithms.

• You are an idea provider for our Data-Science and AI team with respect to data technology and operation procedures.

• You diligently monitor current trends and developments in the field of Data Engineering and derive best practice solutions for the improvement of our data operations from them.

Your Profile:

• You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s level study program in computer science or engineering, or a comparable educational background.

• You have gathered at least two years of experience in Data Engineering or DataOps.

• You have experience in software development (preferably in Python, JAVA being a nice-to-have). Additionally, you are familiar with current data base technology (both relational and NoSQL) and ETL processes and tools (preferably Talend Data Fabric)

• Knowledge about technical aspects of cloud computing – particularly in the AWS environment – are a mainstay of your capability portfolio.

• You are a data engineer by heart and show passion to help solving the objectives of our business units.

• You are interested in current trends and developments in data engineering

• The ability to communicate effectively with people from various backgrounds and to impart knowledge is one of your strong points.

• A high degree of reliability and diligence and attention to detail are a given for you.

• Your level of proficiency in English is at least C1. Knowledge of the German language at level B2 and above is desirable, but not necessary
