Work with stakeholders throughout the organisation to see opportunities for demonstrating company data to drive business solutions.
Mine and analyze data from databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
Assess the efficiency and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
Use predictive modelling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.
Develop model validation testing framework and test model quality.
Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and supervise outcomes.
Develop processes and tools to supervise and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
Experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models, has a Master’s or PHD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field.
Able to nurture robust working relationships with the team, peers and clients, scheduling flexibility required.
Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques, crafting and using sophisticated machine learning algorithms and statistics along with distributed data/computing tools and visualizing tool.
Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
Self-starter and have analytical, problem solving skills.
Must show high degree of attention to detail, ownership, accountability and sense of urgency.
Be able to own the team, both onshore and offshore.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills and Superb communication skills.
