Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for an experienced data scientist to join the USANA’s Business Intelligence team. In this position, you play a key role in driving the company's customer-focused initiatives by leveraging data and analytics to support customer segmentation, targeted marketing, retention, product recommendations and fraud detection.
What You Will Do As a USANA Data Scientist
- Design, build and deploy sophisticated algorithms and predictive models to support customer segmentation, targeted marketing, retention, product recommendations, and fraud detection
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns and insights that drive business decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and help them make informed business decisions through data-driven insights
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of predictive models, making recommendations for improvements when necessary
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide stakeholders with real-time insights into key business metrics and KPIs
Background And Skills You Will Need
- 4+ years of experience as a data scientist or a related role
- A strong understanding of relational databases and architectures (including Kimball architecture)
- Expert SQL skills (5+ years of writing SQL daily)
- Advanced experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
What Will Make You Standout
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation, targeted marketing, retention, product recommendations, and fraud detection
- Advanced experience analyzing data from 3rd party providers such as Google Analytics or FullStory
