A leading, growing consultancy based in Utrecht is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to collaborate with a range of leading companies, to work on software driven products and put machine learning models into production.

THE COMPANY

You will be working for a specialist consultancy that has an established network of leading clients, across different industries in the Netherlands, such as KLM and ING. They are a small team, that strives to create a collaborative and fun working culture, that gives its employees to grow and learn from each other.

THE ROLE

As a Data Engineer, you will be working on different projects for the company's network of clients, this will include:

• Designing and implementing data-driven software products
• Spending 4 days working at the client location, with Fridays spent with your team for training and knowledge sharing
• Putting machine learning models into production, building data pipelines and scalable platforms and applications
• Working with varies tech, including GCP, AWS, Azure, open source technology and CI/CD tooling

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, you will need to

• Have a master's in computer science or a related field
• Be a Dutch speaker to at least a professional level
• Have a strong background in data or software engineering
• Be skilled at using Kafka, Spark, Kubernetes and Docker
• Be a strong programmer at Scala and/or Python
