About the Team

We are operating a global Innovation Analytics Team, which is ramping up and growing its global footprint. As a forerunner in the field of turning information into insights, we need to improve the data savviness in the team. The team has a proven track record of implementing benchmark and industry-leading practices within the Sales and Finance community by bringing external input into the organization and driving innovation of the business models. To run an efficient and scalable team a data scientist will fundamentally drive scientific and analytical models to support the transition into SaaS and create the next generation Finance impact.

To drive innovation, we are not only focusing on development of new products, but also enable the organization on the path to digitalization and the usage of the analytical products the department has developed.


What you’ll be doing

  • Designs, develops and programs methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze unstructured, diverse “big data” sources to generate actionable insights
  • Builds algorithms and uses machine learning tools and statistical techniques to produce solutions to problems
  • Interacts with cross-function teams, such as product management, services, engineers, etc. to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments
  • Works with minimal supervision on complex projects with wide latitude for independent judgment. Highly skilled with extensive proficiency and technical expertise
  • Stays curious and enthusiastic about using algorithms to solve problems and enthuse others to see the benefit of your work
  • Drive digitalization within the Sales Finance organization through change management

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning or similar
  • Proven experience in computer or data science software activities
  • Ability to analyze data and provide understanding, guidance, and support
  • Knowledge of: Tableau, Data Modeling: Alteryx, KNIME, DB Querying: (SQL), Python (Pandas, Matplotlib)
  • Very good communication skills and ability to support different levels of hierarchy
  • Curious Mindset
  • Enthusiastic and Proactive attitude
  • Openness to Business Travel – approximately 10%-20%
