About the role
We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Data Analyst who is a data-driven individual with excellent analytical skills, a track record of demonstrable leadership in their previous roles, and a passion for delivering data-driven insights.

This role will partner closely with Operations and Product Managers and champion change, driving continuous improvement throughout the organization. The Sr. Data Analyst will be primarily responsible for using data to inform the business and advance our product development and business goals. Additional focus will be on expanding data availability to internal and external customers. Reporting into the Director of Operations, the right individual for this position will be excited to manage, develop, and mentor more junior analysts on the team.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure reporting solutions are scalable, repeatable, and meet expectations for a variety of stakeholders
  • Define, implement, and standardize metrics, reports and dashboards
  • Provide recommendations for expanding technologies and data strategy
  • Establish data quality standards, troubleshoot data validation, proactively identify issues, and see them to resolution
  • Translate high-level business objectives into accurate, efficient, and effective reporting solutions, delivering key insights to the leadership team
  • Act as an internal consultant for multiple departments, bring a fresh data perspective to driving decisions, and extend the quality and lives of pets!

About you

  • 5-8+ years of experience working with data and analytics, and with knowledge of statistics
  • Proactive and inquisitive learner who seeks out and capitalizes on opportunities for change, rather than reacting to circumstances
  • Ability to adapt and flex given changing environments and priorities
  • Highly proficient in SQL, Data Visualization software (e.g. Qliksense, Tableau), Excel, R and/or Python
  • Excellent problem-solving and logic skills and end-to-end quantitative thinking
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines
  • Outstanding communications skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues
