The Acquisition Analytics team at Glovo is looking for a Senior Data Scientist with superb technical skills and a passion for tackling hard problems with huge real world impact. We tackle problems such as efficiently allocating Glovos marketing budget, designing and running large scale marketing experiments to measure incrementality and building models to optimise marketing campaigns.

Be a part of a team where you will:
Own the marketing budget allocation process, helping Glovo spend each euro as efficiently as possible to maximise our growth.
Implement state of the art techniques for Media Mix Modelling and Multi-touch attribution.
Design experiments to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and interpret the results to draw detailed and actionable conclusions.
Be creative and pragmatic in identifying and quantifying opportunities for big impact within the marketing function.
Understand the technical and commercial flows of marketing and events data to motivate platform improvements and debugging.
Conduct exploratory analysis (deep dives) into major questions via SQL or other statistical/programming packages.
Develop, test and productionize predictive algorithms by using state of the art machine learning algorithms and statistical models.
Work in cross-functional teams across disciplines such as business intelligence, engineering, operations, marketing amongst others.
2+ years of strong hand-ons experience as an individual contributor in a digital marketing department
Holds at least an MSc, and preferably a PhD in a scientific discipline such as Physics, Statistics, Computer Science or Mathematics.
Deep theoretical and applied knowledge in one or more of the following areas: supervised and unsupervised learning,, reinforcement learning, game theory, statistical inference, bayesian statistics, causal inference, time series analysis, decision theory, mathematical optimisation
Demonstrable experience at productizing models; from inception to deployment.
Full proficiency on Python and SQL; can write, inspect and review code.
Experience with software development tools & processes such as git, jenkins, CI/CD & unit testing, Docker etc.
Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Scala and Spark) and AWS is desirable.
Excellent communication, visualisation & storytelling with data skills with the ability to concisely articulate methods, observations, insights and recommendations to both a scientific and marketing audience.
Comfortable taking ownership of projects and showcasing key accomplishments both collaboratively and autonomously.
Experience in start-up and/or R&D environments.
Previous experience in the marketing space is a plus.
