How Your Role Will Look Like

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on app analytics within a larger team of analysts, product managers, designers and software engineers
  • Collaborate with business owners to understand their objectives, strategies, and KPI requirements to translate them into data solutions and actionable insights
  • Build metrics around user journeys (e.g. customer lifetime value) and provide insights about cohorts like registered / non-registered users
  • Design data models, reports and visualizations by using technologies like Google Analytics/BigQuery, SQL and BI-Tools (e.g. MicroStrategy)
  • Contribute to a valuable, robust, and high-performing app analytics environment by optimizing code, debugging anomalies, and creating documentation
  • Provide training and support to team members on app analytics methodologies, tools, and best practices  

What You Need To Succeed

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data analytics setting with mobile apps, preferably in a similar industry
  • Great understanding of eCommerce products and challenges
  • Expertise in GA4 user tracking is a must, ideally including how to deal with technical challenges such as tracking bugs or consent management
  • Experience with user journey concepts & metrics
  • Highly skilled in working and telling with data - statistical methods, data modelling, visualization and ability to turn complex topics into simple stories
  • Very good SQL skills are required. Additional languages and working with best-practice coding approaches (such as Git) are a plus
  • Expertise in GA4 user tracking in apps, including dealing with technical challenges such as consent management or SDK issues
  • Strong proficiency in English language, German is a plus
