We have an excellent opportunity to join the CRM+ programme team within the Fundraising & Supporter Engagement directorate; one of the highest profile programmes of work within the British Red Cross responsible for the delivery of a solution that will have an impact on over 350 staff and GBP 100 million in income.
What you will be doing
As part of the CRM+ programme, you will provide technical leadership around the design, development and delivery of the databases, data processes, data products and services that make up the data platform and integrations required for the CRM+ programme. The role will lead on the design and development of a variety of solutions from smaller proof of concepts through to production ready data systems mostly using Microsoft’s Azure cloud with a focus on business benefit realisation. These solution designs and architecture for the CRM+ programme will make great quality, well understood data available to applications (e.g. Dynamics 365) and people that can drive analytics and insights into the Fundraising and wider Supporter Engagement directorate.
The role will be a key technical point of contact when working with specialist CRM and Data Platform partners as well as internal and contracted resources.
What we are looking for
You should be a driven individual with an in-depth understanding and knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) including general ETL principles and best practice, have a demonstrable understanding of how to expose from and to systems (for example, through APIs), link data from multiple systems and deliver streaming services as well as an expert understanding of database technology with specific use when storing and manipulating large datasets.
