About The Role
Working with a modern analytics stack including technologies: Microsoft Azure Cloud, Azure Kubernetes Service, Docker, Snowflake, Airflow, dbt and Databricks.
You will be working closely with the engineering and analytics teams to enable machine learning solutions.
You will be building and maintaining the analytics/machine learning environment, including solutions for productionising models, model stores, feature stores while making use of our agile practices and DevOps standards.
What's Involved
- Creating and managing distributed computing clusters that can run data-intensive applications and machine learning algorithms
- Collaborating with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, and to provide infrastructure solutions that meet those needs
- Performing engineering and development of analytic data products and data/model pipelines in a cloud environment
- Support machine learning usecases to be productionised – including deployment, automation, orchestration, monitoring and logging
- Contributing to the evolution of analytics environments as well as data processing and integration
Who We’re Looking For
You will have a deep understanding of technical platforms for analytics, experience with cloud platforms and have a genuine passion for the data space.
You are an analytical thinker, a problem solver and a team player who leads by example and shares your knowledge with your peers.
You’ll Need
- A strong understanding of cloud computing platforms and Docker based solutions
- The ability to design and implement scalable data storage and processing systems
- Proficiency in programming languages preferably Python
- Understanding of the deployment aspects of the Data Science lifecycle
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with Data Warehousing techniques and technologies
- Collaborative mindset to work effectively with other engineering & architecture teams, data scientists and stakeholders in the organisation
