Join us as a Data Analyst and you’ll become part of the Magnet family.
What you’ll be doing
Working closely with our Head of Data & Analytics, you will support our Commercial team (including Range Management, Digital and Marketing) by providing vital reports and analysis so that decisions are well informed and data-led.
You’ll manipulate data to produce and distribute reports on a weekly and monthly basis, examples of reports you’ll be producing are range sales reports, product penetration reports and website conversion reports. You’ll be expected to think outside the box and challenge and make recommendations from your analysis.
How you qualify for the role
You’ll have an analytical mindset with excellent Microsoft skills including excel and able to turn data and reports into a creative and simple way. As you will be communicating with different areas of our business, you’ll have strong communication skills with the capability of making commercial recommendations. You will naturally like to solve problems and have a good eye for detail.
We are in the process of implementing a data visualisation tool called Tableau (which you will be involved with) – experience with this or something similar would be beneficial.
