What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Perform varied and complex diagnostic and procedural coding for patient records
• Ensure complete, accurate, and timely coding and APC assignment
• Support the efficient and effective financial operations of the Medical Group
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of medical records
• Contribute to the mission of putting patients first
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High School Diploma
• 3-5 years demonstrated coding experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of CPT, ICD-10CM, and HCPCS coding
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with clinical information systems
• Professional interpersonal and communication skills
  
  

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• College degree
• CPC Certification
• EPIC experience
• Understanding of denials process
• Microsoft Office and Excel proficiency
