Data Engineer (m/w/d)



Location: Stutensee

Purpose

Advanced analytics is one of the core beliefs of the NDT Global, the purpose of this team is to push the boundaries further in context of AI assisted software.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements strategies to collect information throughout the company for data science projects
• Cleans and prepares data for data science projects
• Researches and implements prototypes for improving workflows in different departments, e.g. in data analysis accuracy and/or efficiency
• Tests and performs statistical analysis to evaluate developed solutions

• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Mathematics or similar
• Experience with research and/or data science projects is preferrable
• Theoretical and practical knowledge on database concepts
• Knowledge on statistical analysis and high abstraction and synthesis level
• Experience in scientific programming and data analysis
• Experience communicating with experts and non-experts on scientific problems and results is preferred
• Must be proficient in spoken and written English
• Advance knowledge of Python and data science libraries (Scipy, Pandas, etc.)
