Data Scientist Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Science function managing a team of data scientists, focusing on delivery of customer outcomes, AI and ML services
• Manage the team's priorities
• Work with the team to build data warehouse from scratch that can scale with demand
• Set the standard for excellence for statistical analysis and information visualisation
• Empower data consumers through technical workshop
• Collaborate with our Data Engineering team and Data Architect to deliver business value

Qualifications 

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Engineering, Data Science or Artificial Intelligence
• 5+ years working experience in data teams
• 3+ years experience managing data scientists
• Experience designing, building and deploying machine learning models
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical individuals
• A strong understanding of statistics and maths behind machine learning models
• Experience creating a team culture of learning, and sharing best practices & industry insights
• The ability to manage a project from start to finish and deliver on time
• Knowledge of cloud environments and version control
