Position Summary: We are looking for a Data Analyst Intern for our Master Data Management team. Master data management is a technology-enabled discipline in which business and information technology work together to ensure the uniformity, accuracy, stewardship, semantic consistency and accountability of the enterprise's official shared master data assets.
The users of this system are usually business knowledgeable and not technologists. The analyst must be able to bridge the gap between technology and business to ensure that the technology fits the needs of the business. They must be self-starters and interested in truly solving problems to improve the adoptability of the toolset. They must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. The right candidate will have a passion for serving stakeholders to improve business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training documentation as it relates to using the master data management application. This requires obtaining the knowledge of how the master data management tool works and ensuring the training documentation accurately portrays this information in a simple non-technical format.
- Deliver efficiencies in delivering the information to the end-user. Currently we utilize a workforce application which does not include all information required to perform the functions of the
- Present compelling, validated stories to peers, management and internal customers to drive both strategic and operational changes in business
- Work collaboratively with the MDM team and the lead end-users to provide an improved engagement model for the end users.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships based on trust and mutual respect. Communicate with managers to balance stakeholder and analytics perspectives
- Adept at quickly acquiring knowledge of how the toolset is used by the end user community.
Standard Job Requirements:
- Working knowledge of basic master-data-management as it relates to managing
- Very strong communication skills to understand the needs of the end business users.
- Self-directed, innovative thinker. In addition to a strong attention to detail, strong candidates will also be able to see the strategic implications for the business in the big picture. You are fluent in telling the story to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Attention to detail while understanding an enterprise concept Creative, proactive, bold and out-of-box thinking
- Great curiosity, high enthusiasm, integrity, ingenuity, results-orientation, self-motivation, and resourcefulness in a fast-paced competitive environment
Educational Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in a business or data science.
