POSITION SUMMARY:

To provide Signet Marketing leadership with visibility and insights into customer, performance of marketing activities, and business health and across all logos. The Sr. Analyst accomplishes this by utilizing the power of visual analytics via Tableau and the Signet customer Data Lakes (CRM/CDP) to pull actionable insight out of disparate datasets. While an Analyst surfaces what happened the Sr. Analyst sheds light into why it happened, what are the potential implications of what happened and what we can do about it in order to have a material impact on the business. The Sr. Analyst can work both independently and in a collaborative environment and has a passion for analyzing complex datasets and converting them into insights that drive decisions that create value.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Design and build visualizations and interactive user interfaces in Tableau to present complex data in an easily digestible visualizations that surface insights and drive action. (e.g. Customer profile dashboards, marketing campaigns and audience performance dashboards)
  • Build data extracts using SQL and data analysis skills to curate data sets from multiple data sources necessary to perform any given analysis
  • Partner with business teams to understand the full context of data/analysis request, especially the question behind the question
  • Present findings/recommendations to all levels of management based on data and analysis of results. Communicate data findings with technical and non-technical partners.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to standardize analysis workflows and improve efficiency
  • Performs additional duties and projects as assigned


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in related field

Required or Acceptable Job-Related Experience: Required Tableau / Power BI, SQL; Ideal: Python/R

Years of Job-Related Experience Required: 4+ years

Technical/Other Skills Required:

Technical: Required: Tableau/Power BI and SQL Ideal: Python/R, familiarity with Web and Marketing analytics (Adobe, Google), and Customer analytics (clustering, segmentation)

Soft Skills: Intellectual and analytical curiosity, willingness/ability to learn new concepts quickly, proven ability to generate insights and pull the “So What?” out of data and recommend a “Now What”

  • The salary range for this opportunity is $67,000.00 – $90,000.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
