What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Develop professional reports/visualizations using IBM Cognos Analytics, Power BI, IBM Planning Analytics, and similar tools
• Work with large and diverse data sources to build analytic datasets for analysis
• Create logical and dimensional data models based on business requirements
• Analyze business needs and provide real-time feedback to increase the adoption of analytics
• Identify key areas of opportunity through data analysis and communicate findings to all levels of the organization
• Design and curate data dictionaries based on stakeholder requirements
• Ensure data quality for accurate insights and storytelling

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in information science, data management, computer science, or a related field
• Experience creating compelling visualizations and insights
• Ability to evaluate risks and provide timely recommendations and solutions
• Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills
• 8+ years of experience with SQL and querying on big data systems
• 5+ years of experience with reporting and dashboarding on modern analytical systems like IBM Cognos Analytics, IBM Planning Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• 5+ years of experience in data modeling for defined business requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the technology industry, with knowledge of data products preferred
• Familiarity with data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, Airflow, etc.
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty
• Some travel may be required

• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience in creating ETL for moving and establishing business logic to data
