As a Research & Data Analyst within our Strategy & Planning (Customer Segmentation) team, you will play a crucial role in driving our brand's success through data-driven insights. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data related to market trends, guest feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform our branding and communications strategies. Your findings will guide decision-making processes and help us refine our brand positioning and messaging.
Data Collection and Analysis:
- Collect and maintain data from various sources, including guest surveys, social media, market research, and competitor analysis.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to our branding and communication efforts.
- Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to present data-driven recommendations.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for brand enhancement.
- Monitor and assess the competitive landscape to identify strengths and weaknesses.
Guest Feedback Analysis
- Analyze guest feedback and reviews to extract valuable insights that can be used to improve our brand's reputation and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with guest experience teams to implement necessary changes based on feedback.
Brand Performance Tracking
- Develop KPIs and metrics to measure the performance and impact of branding and communications initiatives.
- Regularly track and report on the effectiveness of branding campaigns and strategies.
Recommendations And Strategy Development
- Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for the Branding and Communications team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine branding and messaging strategies.
- Create compelling visual representations of data using tools such as graphs, charts, and presentations to effectively communicate findings.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, data analysis tools, and best practices to ensure the hotel group remains competitive and innovative.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data analysis and market research, preferably in the hospitality or branding industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Google Analytics).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
