Your job
As a machine learning engineer, in the Grid Channel Security, you will work together with fraud experts and data scientists to safeguard our from criminals. This includes threats such as phishing, account takeover, lost or stolen debit cards, e-commerce fraud and more. Your role will involve improving and automating machine learning operational processes across the entire machine learning lifecycle; so that the team can work faster and more efficient, to protect customers. You will work with big-data in real-time using cutting-edge technologies for fraud detection.
You will also be responsible for championing the best practices in machine learning operations across teams to ensure that industry practices are effectively applied. This role also calls for an individual who can simplify technical concepts for diverse stakeholders, and can seamlessly collaborate within a team.
You will be constantly devising ways to enhance the machine learning life-cycle to reduce technical debt, as well as improve efficiency. Your work serves as a benchmark for others, and you encourage and facilitate team members to achieve these standards. You are eager to work alongside others to brainstorm how data science solutions can help us stay one step ahead of criminals in the ongoing cat-and-mouse game.

Working environment
Grid Channel Security within Corporate Information Security Office (CISO) is responsible for the prevention and detection of payment fraud, and deciding the policy and strategy in the area of fraud. The fraud detection team that you are going to be part of, is a motivated group of colleagues working with a focus on protecting customers. CISO is recognised as having an informal work atmosphere where everyone has a heart for their job and is prepared to help others.

Your profile
- You have 1-3 years of industry experience with building machine learning based solutions
- You enjoy solving complex technical puzzles and are value-focused
- You have experience in machine learning operations: deployment, maintenance, and implementation
- You have understanding of MLOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, containerisation technologies and version control
- You have strong understanding of Python software engineering skills: design patterns, unit tests and project packaging
- You have strong working knowledge of SQL and Spark
- You have experience with Linux, cloud technologies and ML platforms such as Databricks
