Kemper is seeking a Data Analyst/Junior ETL Developer to the Enterprise Data Services team to assist in data analysis and ETL development. This is a great position to move your data career ahead, learn new ETL tools and cloud software!


Responsibilities


Work with the technical project team to ensure technical requirements are documented, communicated, and implemented. Work with technology and business partners to design, develop, and implement ETL solutions. In this position you will:


  • Conduct data analysis and requirements documentation
  • Work with databases and run queries using SQL
  • Document data mapping and research data related inquiries
  • Communicate and discuss requirements and data with various project stakeholders.
  • Perform ETL design and development


Qualifications


  • Working knowledge of SQL (TSQL/PL SQL)
  • 2+ of technical data analyst experience
  • IT Business/Technical Systems Analyst experience preferred
  • Experience with ETL tools, IICS/Informatica PowerCenter is a plus.
  • Experience with data mapping, modelling, lineage, governance and management a plus
  • Knowledge or experience of the following preferred:
  • Data Warehouses/ Data Lakes
  • Business Intelligence
  • ETL patterns and tools
  • Cloud/AWS/Snowflake/Data Vault
  • Effective, clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Education equivalent to a college degree in information technology or technical related discipline, or the equivalent in related work experience
  • This position will be located in Jacksonville, FL, Chicago, IL, Alpharetta, GA or Birmingham, AL (Hybrid schedule – one day in the office per week).
