We're looking for talented senior data engineer who will join our client for 12 months fixed term contract with possibility to convert to permanent role.
Purpose of the role:
- Responsible for the strategic direction, leading, designing and operationally managing Data Warehouse and associated governance processes.
- Support and enable our Business Intelligence dashboarding & reporting capability, performing data engineering type activities to ensure can derive greater insights from our data.
- Encompassed as a data engineering skillset, deliver effective data analysis, data extraction, data management, maintenance activities to support the operational and strategic needs of the business.
- Support and enablement of various data quality and remediation processes in support of data and business analytics requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, and Analytics
- Proven experience implementing data and analytics management programs
- Data-modelling and information classification expertise at the enterprise level
- Advanced knowledge of MS BI Toolset is required including SQL Server, Reporting and Analytical services MS SSRS and SSAS, data integration with MS SSIS, BI Tools such as Power BI / Tableau capabilities. Experience on BI technologies such as Power BI, Tableau,
- Microsoft SQL Server (requires SQL Administration skills, strong T-SQL skills, including stored procedures and CDC)
- SQL Server Analysis Services tabular models (Tabular data modelling and DAX queries) (SSRS preferred)
- Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Data modelling experience - Kimball, Inmon, vault models
- Devops, git integration, automation of ci/cd pipelines
- Expert level in Data warehousing and data lake technologies and discipline
- Proven track record of successful implementations of Data Warehouse, Data Migration, Data Quality solution
