Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities

  • Enable the discovery of disease-modifying therapies for highly unmet medical needs by maintaining and enhancing our enterprise-level lab information management solutions, the Dotmatics and Benchling suites.
  • Develop and customize informatics solutions for small and large molecule programs querying, data retrieval, and visualization.
  • Support scientists in understanding information content and context, generating fit-for-datasets, and providing ELN training.
  • Provide ongoing support for ELN system in collaboration with scientific stakeholders.
  • Be a champion of our strategies for scientific data governance, security, privacy, quality retention.

Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor’s with 2+ years relevant experience or Masters/PhD with 0-2+ years with working with LIMS or ELN systems, laboratory informatics projects, and/or scientific software development.
  • Experience in a Pharmaceutical/Industrial chemistry/Biotech environment highly desirable
  • Track record of successfully delivering laboratory informatics solutions to address complex scientific data challenges and applying modern software engineering practices to deliver applications and/or scientific data analyses
  • Proficiency in programming languages, specifically including SQL and Python
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills

Salary Range: $100,000.00 to $144,000.00 . Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
